Host:
Cheryl Gissing's approach to life is rooted in deep holistic nourishment and open-hearted hospitality. A host extraordinaire, Cheryl will be preparing food taken straight from her organic garden; she will lead us on a wild food forage in the surrounding woods and fields, followed by a cookery demonstration and a meal of risotto and soup made from our wild gatherings. All meals will be vegetarian, and prepared according to health-conscious and nourishing principles. She is an artist, yoga practitioner and Naked Voice facilitator.
Kite Hall is nestled in woodland atop the Chiltern Hills near Chinnor in Oxfordshire, England. It was built and designed by Cheryl and her husband Clive. Kite Hall has both cultivated and wild gardens, magnificent trees, expansive lawns, a swimming pool, organic garden and extravagant spring flowers. The house is elegantly comfortable, spacious and light. Everpresent are the majestic Red Kites known to this area, soaring above and nesting in the surrounding treetops.
